Everything about this restaurant is bland. The food, the decor, even the service. The investors are obviously more interested in creating a brand and expanding their business, than a good dining experience. The good thing was that they were able to seat 12 of us at 11am on a Saturday morning. There was no-one else in there.

Anytime you try to make either modifications or add things it's always an issue! So if you allergies to any types of food don't have anything delivered from here! But otherwise the food is very good! Delivery just sucks!

Well first off, its a diner. So its not supposed to be a world class restaurant. Second the food is great dinner food. BEST HOT CHOCOLATE EVER! I've only ordered a few sandwiches but they have always been delicious and never have I had to pay a mandatory tip. If your looking for a quick bite of diner food on the UES then this a great place especially if you have kids.

Pretty sad. After neighborhood clubbing, went here for breakfast with a friend. We should have checked the prices and moved on...Service wasn't that great either. First, I waited for fresh coffee (7 min). Then, another 7 or so minutes for them to take our order. Ordered standard eggs, potatoes, toast w/side of sausage. Friend ordered an omelet. Not only did this take 20 minutes to come, the price for two for breakfast was over $38! That is including a mandatory 20% tip! So, if you are interested in breakfast for two where you don't have to take out a 2nd on your house, I would suggest any of the diners on 1st ave from 75th to 86th.

The overwrought decor is about the only thing going for them... and the tots. Cookie-dough pancakes ($10 for 3 cakes) had about a tablespoon of dough; bacon ($4 for 4 strips) was obviously microwaved and inedible.

This place is okay for kids but not for the rest of us. The food is overpriced and nothing special. For some reason the quality of food is even worse when delivered. There are plenty of other options that don't kill your wallet or tastebuds in the area.

I brought my sister and nephew to "Big Daddy's" and it was a "HUGE" disappointment. I wanted to start the day off-(New York City experience- Circle Line, Empire State Bldg, etc.) with a good breakfast and everything went wrong! We sat for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once we ordered- our breakfast took 30 minutes to get to the table- and really- no exagerration- the order was wrong! Two out of four orders were wrong. I have eaten at the PAS location and it wasn't bad- but the UES location is really in trouble. We had two orders of Eggs Benedict and the "Hollandaise" sauce was unrecognizable. Really not a good experience- I try to be fair with restaurants because I love to cook and know how difficult it can be to please- but breakfast is not brain surgery!~ The Hostess was a bit obnoxious and tried to give us 10% off coupons for out next meal! I really am not a hater but I was besides myself with the choice I made to make an impression for my big NYC tour with my family. I just hope that the management reads these comments-only to improve a great idea for this restaurant. I love the tater tots and have had great omelets in the PAS location. The "idea" is great, but it needs to translate accross the board.
