I know good food when I taste it and the food here is good. I had the fried calamari/zucchini as an appetizer, the parpadelle with cream sauce as my dinner and split the warm choc cake w/ my hubby and had a cappucino for dessert. Everything was YUMMY!!. My husband had the ceasar salad(good but not enough dressing) and he had the veal chop w/parmesan risotto and that was GOOD TOO!!. The service was very good and the food came at the perfect time not to fast and not to slow. We will go again I am sure. Trust me I am as Italian as it gets. Ciao

The Veal Milanese and Osso Buco are the best.. The veal is tender. The bone marrow in the Osso Buco is perfect. If you do not like to wait endlessly for your food after ordering it, this is the perfect retaurant for you. The kitchen is speedy.

OK I am going to get straight to the point here.,...Bice is an amazing place...I have been there 4 times and will continue to go there...the food was delicious the service was fantastic...staff was very attentive but not pushy...quickly after ordering we had our food on the table...everytime I am there is the same experience....from the minute you step in you are greeted with smiles and hellos and throught the evening you just feel so catered to...I highly recommend this Italian restaurant...by far it is one of my favorites in NYC...

Bice is hands down the best Italian in the neighborhood. Try the veal milanese, which is probably the best I had in my life. I've gone there 30 times and still order the same thing..... veal with a creme bulee dessert. Perfect for lunch business meetings and dinner with a girlfriend.... try it! But don't complain when the bill comes.... is not cheap, but worth it!

We went on a Thursday and it was packed but we still got a table outside for drinks and then moved inside for dinner. The osso bucco was delicious as was the risotto. Wine by the glass is pretty expensive but I guess it's like that everywhere in NY. I was suprised that the creme brule was not as good as I hoped it would be. Opt for another dessert.

First a response to the previous poster who complained about the water charges on his bill. No one with any common sense expects that bottles of Pellegrino magically appear on their table without also appearing on their bill. Nothing is free in life -- not even bottled water from Italy (be still my heart). You were charged for water you ordered. Your waiter brought new bottles when you finished the old ones. Generally, this is how it works. If you don't want that to happen, you tell the waiter, no, please, just bring tap water. What you don't do is whine about it, that's like trying to have your water and drink it too. On BiCe, the tagliatelli with lobster is fantastic, and the creme brulee is great as well. The people who work there are also very nice.
