Awful! I'll never go back
We waited about 5 minutes for an outdoor seat. We ordered a Greek salad, appetizer of sausage (4 small round pieces that were VERY dry), Turkish wine which tasted like vinegar. We also ordered the Iskender kebab which was the worst meal I ever had in my life. First, the portion was small with nothing else but the meat. It looked like pieces of doner (gyros meat) thinly sliced on the plate. The kebab was not spiced and it had a really bad lamb after taste. I only eat lamb at Turkish restaurants because they marinate and spice it so well that it doesn't leave a after taste. We didn't eat out dinner and waited 20 minutes for the waiter to come by. I had to ask another wait staff to get our waiter. When I complained, our waiter didn't even say sorry or offer us something else. He told the manager who then came over to ask what the problem was. He was even more rude. He claimed that they had the best meat in town and for me to look at the wait.

Stop Telling Everyone
Stop telling everyone about this place it already is hard enough to get a table... It's my go to place...great for friends or a date...sit outside and watch the world go by or cozy up inside in the winter...great food and friendly and fun...

Great Turkish
Lovely restaurant, great for a night out with girls or a first date. Try the cacik (yogurt and cucumber dip), humus, phyllo wrapped feta, and lamb. Unbelievably delicious. I've been going here for years and years now and it still amazes and surprises me every time I go how delicious and relatively affordable it is. Only disappointment is their no delivery policy which, in nyc, is practically unheard of for a neighborhood joint like this.

Discriminating
Called last night for a reservation for two persons and a baby in a stroller... "Oh! My God! in a stroller!", "Yes, I would have given you a reservation if you were only two... we are very busy". Not a family restaurant but still, I found the attitude quite discriminating, rather than proposing an hour when they are less busy... I leave it to your appreciation... cannot give them a good rating.

Fantastic
Beyoglu is just delightful, even though they are popular they never fail to make us feel special . The food is always fresh , the service is friendy . Its a fun often noisy place, . but hey we cant be the only ones that know about Beyoglu on UES, even though sometimes we wish we are, remembering the day Julian and Georgio came to the neighborhood. and getting a table was as easy as walking through the door. Its always good to see someone do something they love.

Good Fresh Delight
This place serves beautifully fresh, simple cuisine. It is consistantly good and very inexpensive.
