    Very Good!!

The food was amazing and the bread they give (which they gave us extra at no charge) is fresh baked and so good. I will definitely return!

    Great surprise on the UES

We had dinner at beyoglu last night. Great outdoor seating in th e surprisingly nice weather. Great first courses. And the second course is amazing , the best grilled salmon filet and a mixture of grilled lamb chops , kofte kebab and chicken. The best baklava this side of the ocean. The staff although not all turkish was attentive and patient.. When the manager noticed us that it was our first time , brought us turkish coffee and drinks not only to us but also to our friends that joined us before heading out. Thank you all. we will be back.. It was a welcome relief to the UES.

    Delicious

I was really impressed by the food and the atmosphere at this restaurant. Delicious the crunchy bread, interesting the appetizers(very good fried anchovies) and the table cozy and nice enough to bring a date. Enjoy!!

    Best hummus-Ever!

For a nicer place they should get a cocktail menu, but their hummus is unbelieveable and they make killer salads, one of my favorite spots in the summer.

    A Great Meal

My six sisters & 1 visited NYC and had a great meal at Beyoglu. Four of us are from the Houston, TX area 1 from Colorado 1 from Oklahoma and 1 lives in NYC and took us to one of her favorite restaurants & I understand why it is. We shared a baklava and had to order another. We were almost in tears it was so good!

Why should such good food be so annoying

I have been to Beyoglu many times. I have invited friends and family to join me there. The food is usually wonderful- which is why I return. The service is NOT! It is an embarrassment. I was there just the other night and I was so frustrated and angry. The waiter kept coming to our table every few minutes-apparently we were not finishing as quickly as we were supposed too. He kept trying to "wrap things up". I came with my family to enjoy the great food and enjoy my visit. Instead I found myself wondering why ther ewas such a rush to give us the check when it was a weekday; no line outside. There were tables available upstairs, outside and downstairs. Why the push. This restaurant needs to do better by its great food.

    Great UES Spot

If it should say something to you, I do not review any resturants. My girlfriend and I have eaten there 4 times now in the past 2 months and this place has delivered every time. The people are really friendly and knowledgeable about the foods, the specials are great, and the prices very reasonable. We never ask for a reservation and usually wait 5-15 minutes for a table around 7:30ish.
