My husband and I went for dinner last night on the recommendation of a friend. We waited 15min for a table as it was so busy. We were eventually seated and our waitress was very nice and helpful with the menu. No music, very few electronics on hand with guests. Total room full of people talking to each other... What a joy to hear all the chatter... We had a wonderful time, will definitely return. Food fab.. Very large portions, next time we will share the food, much too big for one person. Not great choice of beer but lots of wines & champagne to choose from. Highly recommend!

Beyoglu has the best grape leaves I have ever had. They are always so fresh, that even those friends of mine that don't normally like them couldn't have enough! All of the good here is delicious. Totally worth it.

Delicious food but service is terrible and it's really been getting worse. I recommend ordering food to go because waiters are too unpleasant.

Food is good. Entrees mostly large enough to share. Didn't deliver so had to dine-in. Every time I've eaten here the service was subpar and the servers have been curt, rude and have attitude, like they're upset they have to do their job. Even being overly nice to them won't get you the respect you deserve. Oh Beyoglu!

I love Beyoglu's food, so much so that I'm willing to overlook the staff, who by majority is rude and inattentive. I'm never one to tip under 20%, having been a waitress myself, but sadly I've done so at Beyoglu. My friends and I arrived for our reservation at 7 (which I do recommend because they do get packed) and didn't leave until nearly 11:30...and not for lack of trying. When we told the manager that our waitress was "noticeably absent" they offered a half-hearted shrug. Great. I'll take the hummus but leave the 'tude.

Today was the second incident that I had at Beyogolu where their lack of customer service was obvious! I was with a friend and when the bill came we gave 2 credit cards to split the bill. The waitress refused to split the bill saying there was a $20 dollar minimum. The bill was $30 so she would not charge $15 to each card. This is lunch and the food is not pricey so not easy to reach $20. She was rude and not apologetic. Last time I was there I ordered a salad to share with my husband and asked for the tomatoes on the side because I am allergic and he wanted the tomatoes. She refused and said that they do not do that. How hard would it be to fill such a simple request. Never again will I go.

By far one of the best Turkish restaurants in NYC. The food is always fresh, the dips are incredible, and the Turkish tea is amazing. The prices are very reasonsible.
