Never even got to order
Tried to order from this place and are a block below the delivery range which is only 4 blocks from the location. When I asked if they could make an exception the host was extremely rude with her response then just hung up.

Lovely place
Extraordinary, meticulously-prepared food in a warm, casual setting served by a helpful young staff that really gets what the food and fun are all about. There's a comfortable, enveloping buzz overall.

Fantastic find
We are in the process of moving to the neighborhood and were exploring the restaurant options when we stopped at Bettola. It seemed cute and it wasn't very crowded at the time. When we read the menu, we joked a little how well the menu was written, with a little skepticism that they could deliver on their descriptions as the prices were less then most place we're used to. And WOW did they. Really, everything was just fantastic - from the bread on the table to the meat and pasta dishes. A lot of comment here talk about pizza, but I had a vegetable pasta dish that was just wonderful. My girlfriend ordered a stuffed chicken that was cooked perfectly. Even the house wine selections went well with our meals - it was the perfect introduction to the Upper West.

i don't like to cook but i love to eat and i visit bettola twice a week they have excellent food and a very friendly stuff... lamb ravioli is really good.

Disappointed !
Second time eating here and last. Went here on a date. Its a cute place in a nice location but the food has very little taste to it and the entree portions are equivalent to an appetizer. I had shrimp and pasta. They gave me maybe 3 shrimp and the pasta was not even fresh. My date had the pizza. I am not one to normally complain but it really tasted like cardboard and it was room temperature when it came out. Better restaurants to dine at on Amsterdam.
