Great find in the village!
This was my first experience at a Brazilian restaurant, and it was amazing! The atmosphere is warm and inviting (a great place for a date) and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I ordered the duck with mashed potatoes and it had terrific bold flavors. My friend had the Strogonoff de Frango which was also a good choice. I left feeling full, satisfied, and slightly tipsy due to the caipirinhas I ordered (watch out- these drinks are tasty and strong!) Overall, a wonderful experience. I will be back soon!

Great small restaurant!
Today i had the pleasure of eating at this delightful eatery. I started my food trip with a tasteful potatoe soup. I must say it was the best soup i have had in a long time. As an entree i had the duck with mash potatoes. The duck was covered with a tasty dark sauce a little salty but still delightful. The place is small it has at most ten tables inside. The decor was nice. The service was great. I guess it would be if your being served by the owner. Speaking of the owner. He was very attentive and personable guy. I highly recommend this place.

Very Special
This place is a delight! From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave you really believe all the staff would rather do nothing else than try to please you. The food was so flavorful and served with such care that you'd do yourself a disservice if you never went. Make sure you celebrate a birthday here..It will linger on...

The Real Brazilian Food!
The food served at Berimbau is not like the fake/for tourist food you get at Little Brazil (46th st). We are talking about creative dishes and excellency in terms of service.

Great Brazilian food!
Absolutely great quality Brazilian food. Everything about this restaurant is enjoyable from the fine food to the background music. One of my favorite now places to dine downtown and with the trip if you don't live in the area. The Deserts are fabulous!

Slice of Brazil
Exquisite hidden gem that's easily missed from the street when you're walking by as it's narrow and unpre-tentious but inside, the long and narrow room is tastefully appointed leading to an outdoor patio in the back. The service was very attenta-tive but not intrusive and the noise factor was absent. The menu had a good selection of Brazilian dishes and food quality was far above par with an attractive presentation.

An Awesome Find
Found this place completely by accident. The food was fantastic, with an inventive menu. As good as the food was (and it was really good!) the service was even better! Great, attentive server who was genuine and fun. Go there before it's "discovered."
