Slow Delivery
Took 5 mins to order. What is that? waited 1 1/2 hours for delivery and called several times. Cold food. Never again.

good sandwiches, but not cheap
For a bagel shop it's definitely not cheap, but the bagels are good, sandwhiches are large and they offer lots of options. They hired a bunch of new staff to meet the demand at the new location and they're not well trained - I usually have to repeat the order several times and they're very slow. But the guys who stayed on from old location are great and can handle the high demand. hopefully they'll get the new kids whipped into shape soon

Over priced
Good food, yet over priced. It's just bagels, side orders, sandwiches, light pastries & salads! Is it reasonable for a sesame seed bagel toasted with butter, turkey & Swiss cheese to cost $6.25? I think, not. I guess at 10am on a Wednesday my order (which also included a large green tea) didn't qualify for a Breakfast special. Not at $8.55. I dare to ask, how much is a hero, Bergen Bagels on Mrytle? 15 bucks?

service
I called for delivery and asked if they would deliver to my address. Sometimes they will come to my house and sometimes they will not. He took my order and I waited for my food. I am on bed rest and was waiting for food to take some meds. Then they called me 45 min later to say they decided it was too far to deliver. I could have gone somewhere else and been done eating by then. This type of service is so rude! they should have told me no from the beginning, and if you take the order and say you are going to deliver you should no matter what. I love there bagels but they need to work on their service.

Best bagels in brooklyn!
I usually dont write reviews, but bergen is definitely an exception!! fresh bagels, amazing service! I eat here at least thrice a week.

Great bagels fast
Sure it's crowded and there's not time for pretty talk. But their bagels are wonderful, and I've never stood for more than a few minutes in their long lines. I go to Bergen Bagels all the time.

Who cares if they don't wipe your *$$?
I sort of "don't get" the other reviewers complaints about service. They are SLAMMED. There is so much business coming through there, and when I call to order, I'm always placed on hold for a short time. They always come back - they always get my order, and they always get it right. That they aren't super duper friendly is irrelevant to me. They aren't rude, they're attempting to get yours and everyone else's orders right and out and in as timely a fashion as possible. Get off your high horses and deal with it, or go get a bagel and spread some cream cheese on it yourselves. Obviously, I think this place is great. If you don't need someone to tell you that you're pretty when you order - give them a call.
