I called for delivery and asked if they would deliver to my address. Sometimes they will come to my house and sometimes they will not. He took my order and I waited for my food. I am on bed rest and was waiting for food to take some meds. Then they called me 45 min later to say they decided it was too far to deliver. I could have gone somewhere else and been done eating by then. This type of service is so rude! they should have told me no from the beginning, and if you take the order and say you are going to deliver you should no matter what. I love there bagels but they need to work on their service.

I usually dont write reviews, but bergen is definitely an exception!! fresh bagels, amazing service! I eat here at least thrice a week.

Sure it's crowded and there's not time for pretty talk. But their bagels are wonderful, and I've never stood for more than a few minutes in their long lines. I go to Bergen Bagels all the time.

I sort of "don't get" the other reviewers complaints about service. They are SLAMMED. There is so much business coming through there, and when I call to order, I'm always placed on hold for a short time. They always come back - they always get my order, and they always get it right. That they aren't super duper friendly is irrelevant to me. They aren't rude, they're attempting to get yours and everyone else's orders right and out and in as timely a fashion as possible. Get off your high horses and deal with it, or go get a bagel and spread some cream cheese on it yourselves. Obviously, I think this place is great. If you don't need someone to tell you that you're pretty when you order - give them a call.

In hate to have to write a damn review but these guys are just nasty to people! They tone of voice and I don't care attitude surprises me that they are still in business. I almost felt as if they wanted to fight me, and all I wanted was a bagel. If there is anyone out there with worst customer service I really do hope they are in jail to keep the community safe!

Absolutely my favorite place for bagels. Try the whole wheat everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. Sooooo good.

I have ordered for delivery and stepped into this establishment. They have the WORST service ever. Three blocks away and it took over an hour for a delivery with no apologies or explanation. In the afternoon if the staff doesn’t feel like serving a customer everyone turns their back and becomes “busy.” They are rude and do not understand nor care about the simple and basic rules of customer service. I do not believe that the customer is always right but I do believe the customer should always be valued and so should their money. I can’t wait for another establishment to come into the area that makes salad, good breakfast and bagels. If anyone knows of a place let me know!!!!
