I know this place didn't get very good reviews so I wasn't expecting much but still the food managed to disappoint me! The escargot were small, rubbery and rather dry - not enough garlic either. Lobster bisque was thin and too salty and the addition of wild mushrooms didn't make up for the total lack of lobster. At first bite, the lamb shank was tasty but the flavoring hadn't penetrated the meat leaving it very bland. I enjoyed the frisee salad was good, even Benoit couldn't ruin lettuce and a poached egg. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly but the bartenders were lackluster. Get some dynamic bartenders and we could overlook the ordinary food. The prices weren't atrocious but still, I'd rather pay more and get food worthy of the chef's reputation.

This place is really pretty inside without being snobby. The service was fantastic, as was the food (best escargot I have ever had). All around fabulous experience, very fun place.

This restaurant is close to work and so I stopped in with a friend. The server was very attentive and polite. The wine was perfect with our meal and the beef was extra tender and flavorful. The dessert was exotic and creamy. It has been a while since I have had such delicious food. The price was very reasonable for the delightful atmosphere, great food, and attentive staff.

Went to Benoit with a few friends the other night for dinner. The little cheese gougeres they give you in the beginning were addicting, and loved the chocolate souffle. Service was friendly, and it was a solid dinner, no complaints here.

Ducasse does a good job with this restaurant, providing a less expensive different style than its counterpart in Adour at the St. Regis. I loved the decor and the bar area, where we started our night with drinks. The charcutrie plate was excellent and provided some true french brasserie meats and pate. Once seated, the service was decent, mostly due to how crowded it was, but the food made up for it. Very traditional Ducasse, but it never fails. I was very pleased with this place and I enjoyed it more than Bar Boulud, but that perhaps could be due to the company I was with. Loved the lobster ravioli!

Had dinner tonight with three friends and we were not impressed.with every reques, our female server reacted as if we were inconveniencing her. My friends had the duck, halibut, and lobster ravioli. They all said said there dishes were ok. The ravioli was even cold. My steak was good. It was cooked perfectly to medium well and I enjoyed it. Other than that, nothing special.
