    Bonjour Paris!

The $1 egg Mayo is great!! If you like deviled eggs, this is a fun take on the classic dish. The atmosphere at the bar is so chic and cool. I love the black and white decor... and on Wednesdays, they have live jazz as well !

    good food

Had the pre-fixe "Restaurant Week" dinner last week. Each course was very good: Asperagus in puff pastry; Skate wing; and a delicious Raspberry tarte. However, the atmosphere was very noisy (often a sign that the restaurant wants to get table turnover as rapidly as possible) and particularly shameful was the obliteration of the former "La Cote Basque's" beautiful wall murals !

Better for a drink than to eat

Arrived at 7:30 and were seated promptly as the restaurant was filling up. Service was good as well as the price points on the menu. Appetizers were the crab salad (did not know there would be so much mayonaise in it), the ceasar salad and the escargot. Main courses were the roasted chicken for 2 (nicely done) and the salmon with a tarragon cream sauce (a bit too heavy for my liking) and maybe 8 vegetables on the plate. Food was ok not great and will not be running back anytime soon.

Parisian fare for double the price!!

Standard Parisian bistro fare for the double the price... in New York - that is saying something ;( The waiter Sebastien was very efficient and excellent at his job - deserves credit here... but the dining experience was really a disappointment. Won't be back.

    So Disappointing!

I made reservations at this restaurant because Martha Stewart was raving about it. I am so disappointed that I wasted my time and money here. I had the Root Vegetable & Beef Napoleon "pot-au-feu" style with horseradish sauce which was bland and tasteless. For an entree I had Puff Pastry Crusted Salmon which was not enjoyable at all, very forgettable. The dessert was good, nougat glace pistachio ice-cream, passion fruit. The other 3 in my group were not impressed with their meals either. Next time I'll pay more attention to these reviews.

    Good Neighbothood Bistro

Been here 3/4 times. Needs a new bartender - someone with personality/passion. The current one has zip - he's just awful. Food and service quite good. Had the filet mignon Sat. nite - top of the line - and the escargots were the best ever. The baby veggies served with it were terrific as well. Make sure you always order a side of french fries! They also serve an excellent hamburger at the bar. Nice crowd - friendly atmosphere. Definitely put this one on your list!

    Excellent

I have eaten lunch here 4 times and enjoyed the extremely high quality of the food, presentation and service. The bread is wonderful as well. The prix fixe lunch is a very good deal. A true Parisian experience. I have eaten in many New York restaurants that usually disappoint - this one doesn't!
