yay! burritos!
i order here several nights a month and im always satisfied and eat the rest the next day... dont understand the negative reviews. ive never been to the actual place so i cant say anything about the atmosphere or the waiters, but i certainly cant complain about the food!

I second that...
I'm surprised by the reviews. I order from Benny's frequently. I'm from SoCal, so my standards of Mexican are pretty high. I often get the Bay Beef Burrito, eat half, and eat the rest for lunch. The burritos are huge and are reliable. This place isn't a 5 star restaurant, but I'm a fan and don't understand the haters.

i've been going to this place since i was a toddler. the food is amazing, the serivce is great, and the take out is to die for when ur craving a burrito

You Must Be Kidding.
I ordered delivery last night and when I look at the bill, you must be kidding. $16 for a not so tasty steak burrito?!!?!! Come on people, it's just rice and beans and the steak were way overcooked. Almost like eating beef jerky. Shame on you.

Way Overpriced
They have already taken an over-priced menu and upped it $1 across the board. This is an average, average mexican joint charging $14 for a burrito and $5.75 for a mixed green salad of shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes. Please people, STAND UP to this kind of BS. There are plenty of other great places to patronize in the neighborhood, with great food and good value.

this place is not that good. all the chicken is dark mystery looking meat. way too much money for below average food. will not go back

ugh
Avoid weekday mornings. I normally come in for lunch on fridays. The waitress is slow, un-attentive and has some attitude issues. Food is fine, fair price for the amount of food served in the lunch specials. The atmosphere is plain boring. I'm willing to give it another try since my bf loves this place. I don't know why though. Maybe its different at night
