Not that great
I've tried Benny's two times. First time, I tried their SuperOmelette. The omelette was plain tasting. I could have made it at home. Side of potatoes was pretty good. Second time, I had their spinach enchiladas. I thought maybe the first time I just ordered wrong even though I believe no restaurants should put anything on their menu that isn't good. Having come from Texas, I know what Mexican food is supposed to taste like and Benny's Burritos is not good. Pio Maya is so much better. On a side note, their service is excellent.

One Phrase Sums It Up
I've been going to this place for the past 16 years. They're the best burritos in the city. The service is RIDICULOUSLY fast and you will leave there with a second meal to take home for $10. You can't go wrong.....except for the tight seating and uncomfortable chairs. But they're THE BEST BURRITOS AROUND.

Big Bang
I don't usually want to eat beef anywhere these days, so I have to disagree with the previous reviewer, but then I don't really think chicken is that clean, either. The veggies are always great, though, and their basic veggie burrito is fantastic. Mostly i want to compliment their drinks. Although not the cheapest place to wet your whistle, with the combination of tasty and well-priced eats, it's really a great place to hang out. A great place to send your friends or bring visitors for a fun time, and they make a great margarita.

Mixed
The burritos are tasty and craveable, and big, but just slightly too expensive. (Huge, strange mark-up for chicken, which is not that tasty here. The best burritos are beef or vegetarian anyway.) The margaritas taste cheap. The service (including takeout service) is meh. The restaurant is comfortable with nice lighting and people-watching, but I always feel like the waitstaff are watching me and waiting for me to leave. (This is at 7 or 8, when we've just ordered.) Best choices: roasted veg burrito, beef picadillo tacos, or nachoes with veg chili.

Bang for the Buck!
Love this place! It's cheap, it's chill, & the food can't be beat! It's my all-time favorite! Stick w/ the basics (burritos rock,, tacos are terrific...) stay away from the fancy dishes...you might be disappointed.

Great Burrito
I've been there a few times. Totally Taleout, two little tables at the window, next to the bike rack. Outstanding Shaved Beef Burrito...
