You don't go here for service and then whine when you don't get it. You don't go here for ambience and then whine 'cos it ain't there. You just go eat really great Thai food on the cheap and go home really satisfied.

The pad thai is incredible - very yummy and def always enough for 2nd's the next day! Service could be better, but definitely worth checking out.

Bennie's is by far the best and most reasonable priced Thai food in the Downtown area.

I was in the mood to try something new and I just got out of class at Pace University with 3 of my classmates. We decided to eat Thai food tonight and we were in the City Hall area. The waitress was incredibly rude towards us when we asked for coconut sweetened rice. At first, she stated that they don't have it but then, contradicted herself and said they did have it but it costs $2 more. The food took quite awhile to arrive although the four of us were the only ones there. They must have been prepared to close. I'd have to say avoid this restaurant.

My Thai friend says it tastes like his mom's home cooking, The roast chicken and spicy noodles are amazing. Not much atmosphere but a pleasant staff. And great prices too.
