Not unappetizing, but not great americanized Thai

It's sort of a take or americanized version of Thai food. It's not bad though and it's actually perfect for a quick bite. But it's not totally authentic. It sort of has that chinese takeout taste if you catch my drift. It's a small place not much atmosphere but the food comes out hot and quick. If you want more authentic or more risque Thai there are certainly many other places I would recommend over this though.

    Poor Service

The waitresses are extremely rude and customer service is definitely not one of their fortes. The food is decent, and probably one of the only decent places in the area unfortunately.

good food at a good price

Bennie's is certainly not the best Thai food in town, but it is a great choice for a tasty, inexpensive lunch, or for take-out on the way home from the office. My favorite: the curry noodle soups (with broad hor fun noodles. But beware, there is no ambiance and the staff practically snarl during the lunch rush. And they will rush you (the food arrives quickly, alonw with the check).

decent food, but not so great customer service

The food is decent at Bennie's. Sadly, the dining experience feels similar to that of a fast food chain, though there's no service with a smile here. No substitutions are allowed during lunch, and there are no lunch special vegetarian options, which keeps me from returning.

    Not the best

Not the best Thai food I ever had, but at least they deliver to BPC. Its a hole in the wall, but delivery is fast. Food very average at best

Rude Service and MSG infused food

We've been here a number of times and the service and food have been worse every time. The waitress took our food away without asking whether to box it up (we had even organized the food for box up). Then not an apology and continued rudeness. On top of that, the food has increasingly been dosed with MSG, leaving a second unpleasant taste in your mouth. We won't be going here again.

    The Best in the City

I go here quite regularly as I work in the area. It is probably the best in the city and certainly the best downtown. Would have liked to have kept this one a secret but had to share since someone shared with me. Enjoy!
