The best of NYC
While in NYC this summer we were directed to Benjamin's Steakhouse by our hotel. After a long day of seeing the sights we stopped there to eat. We split a salad to start and we were glad we did because it was huge and we still didn't eat it all. We both had the filet mignon and they were both cook perfectly. The onion rings were also perfect. You could not of had better service. We sat upstairs and overlooked the other dinning room. When we go back we will go there one evening for sure.

Excellent
We went here a couple of weeks ago for my boyfriend's birthday and couldn't have asked for a better evening. He and I ordered the steak for 2 and it was to die for! It was cooked to our liking and just melted in our mouths. We also had the creamed spinach and grilled asparagus, which were equally as good. If you like your steak sauce sweet, you'll love theirs. If not, I wouldn't try it- the steak doesn't need it anyway.

Remarkable
Went here last night with my boyfriend, wow amazing... The steaks were well prepared. We also had a CrabMeat Coctail.. What freshness of the meat..loved it..This place is definitly worth money. The service and superb, very nice and attentive towards all the guest.. I will definitly go back.

NYC visit
My husband and I just returned from a few days in NYC with our 2 young teenagers. We found this steakhouse to be very good. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the service was exceptional. Yes, it was expensive - but no more than any other high-end steakhouse. Overall a very good experience.

Good Steak
We went to the restaurant on the 4th of July. The steaks we very good. The restaurant was missing ambiance. It' s a high end steak house, but it's lacking personality. The filet mignon was good and the New York strip was excellent. The fish was just okay.

Surpasses Wolfgangs and Luger
Benjamin's is currently the best steakhouse in NY. Far, far better atmosphere and service than Wolfgang's. Far better location and attitude than Luger's. The porterhouse is as good as both places. Get the porterhouse for two, the mushrooms and a bottle of cabernet. You will not have a better dining experience in NYC.

5 stars all the way!
I'm always weary of steakhouses for two reasons: 1. They never cook my steak properly and 2. Their wait staff is often snooty and catches an attitude when I ask for my steak to be cooked the way I want it when it comes out over-cooked! Benjamin Steakhouse is one of the few places that got my order right the first time. Not only that, but my waiter was polite and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful, to boot. Excellent food, excellent service. I highly recommend this place if you like your steak well done...literally or otherwise.
