    Excellence meets friendly staff!

Great food, warm welcoming service! Charlie a funny easy going server, made our night! No need for Broadway! Me and my girl loved it. Juicy rib eyes and affordable Californian Cabernet Sauvignons! Tasty old school pecan pie ala mode! Will be back with a bigger crowd! Plus plus...

    Exellect steakhouse

I recently went for dinner with group of coworkers and had a great time! The food and service outstanding. Their seafood platter with The famous Canadian Bacan hit the spot and the T-bone steak was very tender and juicy. Thank you Benjamin staff for the great dinner.

    Everything is perfect!

I dined here over the weekend and had the most amazing time! Everything is perfect from the staff, food, décor, and wine selections. My friends and I had the steak for 4 with a few different sides, all were delicious. I will definitely be coming back!

Kitchen and Front End Need Attention

Second visit to the Benjamin; very much enjoyed my first and was looking forward to a repeat. Sat upstairs which is less crowded and easier to carry on conversation at the table. Food quality is good; had a beautiful tuna steak; asked for it blackened. Came perfectly cooked but almost no spice on it other than a tremendous amount of salt. Vegetables overcooked and salty as well. Service was attentive but not at all friendly or upbeat. If I am paying $250 for dinner for three, it would be nice to have a smile from the waitstaff every once in a while. Management needs to have a full kitchen and staff meeting. they can do much better.

    Best Steakhouse in Manhattan

I've been going to steakhouses all over the city, including Peter Luger's for many years now. I started going to Benjamins on a friend's recommendation three months after they opened. I can say I’ve never been disappointed; their meat quality and aging are excellent. I would put them on par with Peter Luger, plus they accept credit cards.

    Splendid Experience

We had steak for 4, creamed spinach, wedge salads and onion rings. The steaks were amazing, although way too much food. You really need just “3” for party of 4. You won’t need the steak sauce because flavor and texture was great-filet mignon & New York, but I LOVED the sauce. Wedge salad was really good, really big though. While the entire meal was not inexpensive…($300. For 4 people- with 2 alcohol drinks), it was worth it. Fun, vibrant ambiance and service was good too. I would go here again.

    Very Over Rated

Our steaks were very tough and grisly. For $45 a piece you should get better. We were very disappointed and obviously will not go back. With so many good places in the city, our hotel should not have recommended this place.
