    Very Over Rated

Our steaks were very tough and grisly. For $45 a piece you should get better. We were very disappointed and obviously will not go back. With so many good places in the city, our hotel should not have recommended this place.

    Don't even bother!

Not happy at all with my experience here. Our waiter was inattentive. The food was okay, definitely nothing special. Too greasy and no Taste to it, not worth our money. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and skip on this place!

    Grease or Steak

Frozen butter, tuna tartare that taste like olive oil and parsley, and wedge salad with buffet style blue cheese dressing because it's all oil. The steak sandwich had undercooked bread - so that was a bloody mess. It's room service greasy food, dressed up like a steak house.

    Great!

I have been to many of the upscale steakhouses in NYC and Benjamins was one of the best! The atmosphere, service and food were all incredible. It is a bit expensive but what can you expect from a nice place in Midtown? If you are looking for a great meal and nice place benjamins is a top place to consider!

    The Best

This is a hidden jewel in the Murray Hill district. I have had dinner here several times in the last 4 months and it just keeps getting better. Try their bacon there's nothing like it. *(watch out wolfgang tehese guys are for real) The steaks are first quality the sides are wonderful the room is just great, a fireplace tall ceilings staicases. There is hustle and bustle but you expect nothing else in a NY Steakhouse. The service is exceptional, I have always been made to feel special and our parties are attendent to with great care and devotion. The waitstaff is very good at remembering what customers prefernces are. I don't know how they did it but after the first time I went there they know I like my steak "rare plus" they do not ask anymore. I relly love this restaurant and I coommend their entire staff for executing their jobs with such a high level of profeionalism

More like factory than a restaurant

The place is very nice but in the evening it s overcrowded ! People waiting by dozens just to have a seat! Better make a reservation. As for the meal, it's good but definitely not worth the price! The meat is good but not for $42!

    Not recommended

Went here for my wife's birthday since she loves steak. First impressions were that the atmosphere is very stuffy (no windows, cramped). It is not romantic at all, everyone there is basically there for a business dinner (it's near grand central). Despite having a reservation at 8:00 PM, we were not seated until after 9:00! They kept resassuring us that we were next etc, I would have left if I had known we'd be sitting there for over an hour! The food was so-so, not good enough for me to go back.
