    what a find!

Basically the best deal in our neighborhood. & the food is great too. I like the wait staff & I love the music. When I have been in the manager always seems to be in touch with what is going on. I would pay a lot more for this quality of food. THank goodness I don't have to. My only complaint is that it is sometimes to busy & takes a little too long for the food.

the best place to eat at a great price

I love this place. Yesterday was the first time I ate there and I loved it. The crab cakes were to die for and the cesear salad was made with a bit of lemon and was very very delicious. But what made it the best place was the price. You will never get a meal in Manhattan with a price so low and service so so great. This place out bets the Cheesecake Factory.

Perhaps the poorest service in NYC...

Benjamin has a GREAT dinner special between 5-7, 7 days a week. The atmospher is average; a cross between a restaurant and a bar-type. Located in Murray Hill, its a great place to grab a bite to eat before a movie since the Multi-Plex is across the street. However, in order to take advantage of all this, you have to deal with poor service. The waiters give dirty looks to all customers after you are looked up and down by the male host. Then, the staff will take and submit your order at the same time as the table next to you, but they will get your food, and 45 minutes before you do. I have been there several times and have had some sort of altercation with the staff on each visit. The worst was when I arrived at 6:15, but my order was not taken until 7:05 and I was told that I was no longer able to get the dinner special despite having been made to wait 50 minutes. I walked out at 7:06, and that was my last visit. I do miss their wasabi shrimp, though...
