    Great Brunch!

I went there for mothers day brunch with a group of 6. It was great! Some got omelets, there was an order of french toast, a fritatta, breakfast burrito and eggs florentine. Everyone was happy with their food. French toast was great. Coffee was included and service was attentive. Price was very reasonable for NYC. The only negative is the space is a little cramped for larger parties, but I think its worth it.

    Benjamin's is Good!

I agree with Stan. Bar is friendly with good service and crowd. Food is tasty- good location.

    Not great, would go elsewhere.

Just went here tonight. Had penne with vodka sauce and chicken which was ok, but the pizza was drenched in a watery sauce which made the crust soggy, topped with grease. I would avoid the pizza. Happy dining.

    Better than Sex...

Had to go with my wife to see Sex and the City, and went across the street to Benjamin Restaurant. Surprised on both counts. Liked the movie! but loved Benjamin. Quite the find. Bustling neighborhood bistro. Wait staff casual but attentive. But the food was really quite good. I had a special of Soft Shell Crabs which were yoummy. My wife had salmon that was pecan crusted with a great sauce. They were serving as a special white grape cosmos which I thought was pretty clever giving that the big movie was playing nearby. Obviously someone in charge takes great care of this little place. I will definitley be back.

    Pretty Pretty Good

I went to Benjamin's Restaurant & Bar for the first time this evening with one of my close friends whom enjoyed the pecan encrusted salmon so much that she insisted on taking me there the first night I was in the city! Seeing how she ranted and raved about the salmon I figured I should definitely try it out. I was delighted! We also shared a spinach thin crusted pizza with goat cheese and astly, my friend and I split a brownie fudge dessert. We really went to town and not a morsel of food was left over, we were really hoping for a doggy back to take home for a midnight snack but the food was too delicious to stop eating! By the end of the meal our stomaches were burgonding and we wattled on home: luckily she only lives a couple blocks away.

    gone downhill!

I used to regularly order from this place but the last two times the food has been drastically subpar. Burger ordered well done was raw in the middle and obviously from frozen, sub quality meat. They used to be so good here!

    I was really happy

This Bar had everything I would hope for in a night out. Average prices, delicious food, friendly bartender, tv with sports and upscale customers. I really enjoyed my experience - thank you.
