Benito delicious
We went there as it was reccommended by a lady at AAA. She was right the food was delicious, atmosphere excellent, and very friendly staff. It is a small place so make a reservation. we had eggplant parmesean, pasta and meat balls, and baked ziti. It was belisimo!! Highly reccommend trying it.

Outstanding
Benito One has new owners this year. We worried about how it would stand up. I am happy to report that it is better than ever. They kept the same great chef and the new owners have improved on every detail in the place. Great waiters and an old Italian kitchen atmosphere make this a must see eatery.

Qui si mangia bene
OK - so I'm Italian, and my took my parents here (who are extremely picky eaters and "shkeev" most places) - they were impressed not just by the food but the value! This place is a great deal! The gnocchi with vodka sauce is AMAZING - the service extremely friendly - met the owner - super nice guy, the chef has been there for 27 years. This is one of the few good restaurants left in Little Italy. I am a big fan!

Italy without a Passport
If you can't get to Italy anytime soon, than have dinner at Benito One on Mulberry St. The food is authentic Italian right down to the stuffed artichokes. The service is great and they have reasonable dinner specials. Ladies... If you don't want dessert you can just look at he "Eye Candy " owner...that will be a treat.

Fantastic!
I was doing some shopping with my wife to be in Soho while we decide to take a walk down Mulberry street and happened to see this cozy, romantic, and non touristy looking italian resturant call Benito One. So we decided to give it a try, as we walked in we felt at eased from the lovely paintings to the colors of the wall. The atmosphere and the service was great. Now the food, this had to been by far the best food i have eaten on Mullberry Street in years. This is are new favorite resturant in Little Italy, been back several times after. Two thumbs up.

Ask How Much
Food was great, shrimp parmigana, never had it, would have it again. Just because something is a special doesn't meen it's inexpensive. Ask for the Special Prices before ordering. 2 orders of the appetizer platter cost more individually than some the entrees ($38.00 for 2). Also, didn't get calimari appetizer that was ordered but because the bill was handwritten, we are pretty sure we got charged for. Don't get taken advantage of, the food like I said was great, but check their math and get what you paid for.

Great service
I've eaten at this restaurant for many years and it is always great. The food is always tasty and the portions are generous. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Luis runs a great restaurant! Looking forward to going back soon.
