Greasy food but my favorite...
If you like a nice sweet appetizer you have to try the banana pakoras. The fried dough around the banana is awesome and it is just delicious. I hadn't been back in years but I remembered how good they were and I ordered them the first chance I got! Other than that the food is decent run of the mill indian. A bit greasy but not bad.

very pleasant, reasonable, homey
My friend and I enjoyed the very pleasant, neighborhoody atmosphere. The food was good and very reasonable. I would definitely go back.

Can't Go Wrong-It's all Good
The food here is better than many places on Indian Row (Lexington Avenue) for SURE! It tastes pure and good. Now-there are alot of Indian places that cater to those seeking a "Disney Like" experience. This place offers simple-and reasonably priced-food. The dimly lit dining room is often empty and so they do a lot of delivery (i assume). But that might make it a great place for an intimate dinner. The tables are close together though.

But other than the food...
My friends and I came here on a sunday afternoon for their buffet, and when we found the buffet to be closed, ordered off the menu. We each got different things and found that our dishes were either bland or over-salted. You may as well stay home and pour campbell's soup over rice.

Good value
I ordered delivery from this place a few nights ago because I wanted some Indiana food and didn't want to leave the house. I was a little wary of it because I had walked by on numerous occasions to find it empty, but decided to take a risk. I'm glad I did. The food was tasty and cheap and it arrived quickly. I'm not saying it's now my go-to Indian place, but it's a good deal for delivery and I'll definitely order from it again. I got the veg vindaloo, which was nice, along with the bindi masala, which was good, as well. My partner had the chicken tikka makni and said that the chicken was quite good - no fatty pieces.

Consistent good value
We have been ordering delivery from here for years and its very consistent solid Indian. Chicken Tikka Makni, Saag Poonir, Samoza and Nan are all good.

I love this place
The food is really good . its a clean place and the awesome thing about it is the silence mixed with some soft Indian music. I find it a great escape from work to have a nice and paceful lunch-hour
