amazing service
My husband and I had the steak for two, which would probably feed three. It was cooked perfectly and delicious. We also had the beefsteak tomato and mozzarella app and the tomatoes were huge and at their peak. The onion rings are good too. All the food was excellent but the service is just as good. Anytime our glasses or plates got low a waiter would appear and refill it. Just amazing service.

No reason to travel to Brooklyn
Went for a 2:00 Sunday lunch and things could not have been nicer. Steak for three is of the best quality and cooked exactly as ordered. Creamed spinich, german potatoes and mushrooms all excellent. Bacon & tomatoes with onions make a great start. Service is a team approach and was like clockwork without being obtrusive or in your face. Very comfortable chairs and nice atmosphere. A first rate NY steak house. Prices are of course high but more reasonable than others of lesser value.

Favorite Steakhouse
I went to Ben & Jack's the other night for dinner with friends and it was by far one of the best dinners I ever had. The steak was cooked just right and the appetizers were a great start to my meal. I would recommend the bacon!! I especially enjoyed the German potatoes! In addition, the service was unbelievable. The attention of the waiters was flawless. This is definitely a spot I will be returning to for great steaksss!

As GREAT as the uptown location!
We usually dine at the uptown location but decided to try this one for lunch. WOW! I had the prix-fixe with the mini sirloin. A great value and done to perfection which satisfied my red meat craving. My husband had the a la carte sirloin with an oyster appetizer. The oysters were a tad below their usual quality but then again they were not in season. The martinis were crisp, cold and perfect. I always have the chocolate mousse cake for dessert and it was included with my meal. Made my day! The only thing that was missing was our favorite waiter Sammy who is at the uptown location.
