I took six six high school boys to dinner at Banash while in a school trip. The food was not good at all. My son wanted a steak that was on the menu but felt guilty about ordering something that expensive. I assured him it was ok, after all, we were on vacation and I wanted him to enjoy the dinner. The steak had very little flavor and am was tough. Not what I would expect for the price. Fiour boys ordered country fried chicken, but the chicken was grilled. Another ordered a chicken dish that left much to be desired as the sauce had no flavor. My chicken sandwich was very dry. We had to constantly ask the waiter to refill our water and then he would only fill the glass half full. I told the waiter we were ready for our tickets and he brought only mine. I had to ask a second time for the rest of our party. I left a tip, not not an excessive one due to the poor service by the waiter. He had the nerve to tell me that most people tipped at least 20%. I tip the minimum amount and then leave extra if the service warrants it and this definitely did not. He mentioned the amount of his tip to at least one other in our party. This is beyond rude and unacceptable. It was not a good experience at all and I would never go back or recommend it to anyone. For the price, I would expect much more!

The pasta dish was fantastic and the cheesecake was out of this world. The service was good and I felt that the server wanted us to have a nice time. I look forward to trying more dishes.

We found this place by accident and they suck you in with a display of baked pastries. Inside it's not as expected. High prices and everything came with fries. Even the Omlette came with French fries. The French onion soup tasted like pain thinner

Im still wondering how can such a restaurant is still open on a 7th avenue NYC. Food was tasteless, absence of waiters, slow service and unclean. I wish I knew before getting into this place. First & last, will never go again & a good advice, don't go there

Hugely disappointing. I would strongly urge everyone to AVOID this place. The food took forever to arrive and when it did, it was cold and overcooked. The waiter was useless and never checked on us, never cleared anything off our table - nor anyone else's as there were several tables around us with dirty dishes long after the patrons had left. The manager had a stand up fight with a customer at the table right next to us and the chef stood smoking in the kitchen near to our table with an open door! To top it all off, it was all completely overpriced and a total rip off! You've been warned. Wish I had been.

The restaurant looked aged, the floors were a mess, the restromms were almost a mess, there was very little room to walk back there, and the prices were outrageous, even for New York. AND, there was a $7 sharing charge for a piece of cheesecake- the same for getting a second piece. We will never go back.

I ordered a kettle One martini. I got a yellow drink! All vermouth. I asked for either more vodka or just a Kettle One with no vermouth. What I got was the same drink given back to me! I again refused it and asked for straight Kettle One. I got straight vodka but it sure wasn't Kettle One! Then they had the gall to charge $10 for the drink and $4 additional! Food wasn't good either. Never ever go there!
