Tasty Food, But Portions Too Small
Came for brunch at 2pm on a Sunday. Got a seat right away as there was only a handful of tables seated. Disappointed to see the crabcake I'd come for was gone from the menu. Wanted the SF Scramble, but they were out. Got the cold fried chicken sandwich, which sounded gross but seemed to be the best value on the menu since it was the only item that came with a side (fries, total $12). It was small and though tasty, it would have been 100% better of the chicken was at least warm. BF got the BLT which was a laughable size with a splash of greens on the side for $10. He said it was good, but he took it down in 4 bites. He was really unhappy. The cocktails are really pricey for this neighborhood $11-$14... this is brunch at a pub on the NE side of McCarren not a Manhattan rooftop bar! We passed on them and opted for bloodies (not on the menu). They were not good. Tasted like a bottled mix. It was pretty dead and dark inside - we sat outside though it was hot bc it was a bit depressing. Great service throughout our meal. We will not be returning.

Oh my god...
The BEST burger I've ever had. Seriously.

Wowzers!
Unfortunately, menupages doesn't keep up with how often these guys change the menu. Easily the best food in North Brooklyn. The place is cozy and elegant, if that's possible, the sound is good, but the food... They have an outrageous raw bar. Oysters, for sure, but a bunch of things that get souped up and excite the palate. But I've also had an amazing hangar steak. pork belly, and last night an incredible veal. The service was lousy in the beginning, but what else is new for a restaurant that's just opening. It's gotten better and better, and... I'm happy to say I no longer have to go into Manhattan to have a first-rate dining experience. I just have to walk one block!
