Good, Solid, Consistent, Italian - Delivered
I've ordered from this place a lot recently, and I think it's the best "like home" Italian on the upper west. And it's same every single time. I've ordered the Veal Parm 5 times and it's good every time. That matters. If you tip the delivery guy 5 bucks, it will always be there in 30 mins also.

Charming garden
This is a lovely neighborhood place. The restaurant is beautiful and in good weather the garden in back is wonderful. Good standard Italian food, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken francaise, all fresh and tasty. Very reasonably priced, particularly for the area. My husband and I were delighted and will make it one of our standard spots.

Delish/Friendly/ cozy/ Cash only
I LOVE food! Especially Linguini con Vongole & I admit I'm a bit of a clam snob. I literally sat there & watched them deliver my clams direct from the boat on LI to my plate - Deee-lish! Very Friendly, Megan, the bartender is just the best. These folks care about what they put on your plate & whether you enjoy it or not.....just like Mom's - good, solid home cooking. Dont forget- no credit cards.

Great service; excellent food
We ate here on Friday night and were seated at once without a reservation at 8 PM. The waiters are attentive and professional, and the service was quick. We loved our pasta and chicken dishes and were treated to a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend this casual Italian place. We understand the garden area is open in warmer weather and that should be an added appeal to a place that offers excellent value.

Very impressed!
Last night was our first time at Bello. We walked in with no reservation and we were seated immediately. The server was there in a split second ready to get our drink order and give us the specials. We had the award winning meatballs which were amazing. The service was perfect. The waiter knew the menu inside and out. (I had to ask alot of questions because of my food allergy) I look forward to going back. I recommend this place for sure.
