The decor was a mix of charming exposed brick and cheap tables/flooring that did not work especially well. The food was so-so at best, definitely worse than other similarly priced Italian places. And while the individual waitresses were pretty nice, there weren't enough of them to go around, so service was pretty slow. So in sum this place is not very good.

The UWS has many Mexican and Asian spots, but not many great Italian ones. Here the food is amazing and resonable, and I love that you can get whole wheat pasta for health! I've been reintroduced to red sauce and meatballs, and ate there twice this week already. Bellini is romantic, with BYOB option, quaint and warm for dining with friends. You can choose outside seating or nessled back in a corner. The staff welcomed me when I was there alone the first time and when back with my husband. Not sure where they are from in Italy, but I am glad they are here!

Have eaten here four times since they opened. Their red sauce (and all of their ingredients) is incredibly fresh and tasty. Their bolognese sauce also is very hearty. The pizza's although not inexpensive for what they are are also very satisfying as are the giant salads. The one drawback is that the service is quite slow even when they aren't busy. My guess is that this is a first time restaurant venture and they are working out the kinks, but if they continue on with the great prices and food, and get their liquor license, and get the service to improve they will have lines out the door.

I was there last weekend and had arugula salad. I dont know how to say but it was excellent. I asked them how to make dressing they told me it is secret. Portions are really big and prices are small. Bellini is my new favoritte overall...

A very tight space. When I was there they would clean tables using a product with a horrific odor. Many customers in the shoeboxed sized restaurant made a face when they smelled the product. You would think a restaurant would know not to use such an awfully smelling profuct. Being a neighborhood place you would think the greeting from the staff would be very friendly rather it was not. The pizza crust was bland, the pizza was fair and the prices too much for what it was. The pizza was not cooked enoughed.

The pizza was pretty good and I would definitely return to try something different on the menu. Nice atmosphere and the prices are simialar to Deans Pizzeria on 85th.
