Good prices. Good food. Fast turn around. Servers are rude. Tight place so seats take a while to open up.

Best of Italy in NYC
I love this place. I stopped here once with my sister after a long day in the city and was very pleased with the meal, atmosphere and value. Went back recently with my boyfriend because I couldn't stop talking about the great Italian restaurant I went to. He loved it. The only thing that we didn't like was that we had to order and pay for bread, but still the value and quality of the entire meal was unbelievable. I will definitely be back again...and again.

Most amazing meal in New York City!
I loved this restaurant! The waitresses greeted us with a lovely welcoming smile and had cheery faces throughout the meal, the music was the exact right volume and the songs played were great too! Warm, friendly, authentic, cosy atmosphere. And the food? WOW!! I had tagliatelle in a creamy sauce with chicken through it, it was absolutely delicious!! And the cheesecake for pudding was incredible, I couldnt get enough!! Undoubtedly the best meal I consumed in America (and I was there for 17 days!) if not the best meal I consumed this summer so far!! Wish they would open a branch up in Scotland!

Great deal!!
My wife and I had dinner there and what a meal it was...the portions are rather LARGE. The greek salad was fresh and more than enough for two people, as was the Tortelli soup. The Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious - the meat sauce was tasty and plentiful. The service was friendly and fast.....great place-- I would return in a heartbeat!!

Good food
Portions are HUGE if you get a pasta or a salad. I was suspicious when the salad arrived - so big...could it be good? But, yes, it could! Not overdressed, and fresh, and all the fresh cheese on top was delicious. My Penne Ala Vodka entree was also excellent - vaguely sweet tomato sauce, Pancetta, and pasta al dente. Bellisimo! No complaints here. My date and I split the salad and the pasta - and it was not only delicious and well made, it was enough for us to both eat well and send some back! And we are not small plate people. Recommended. Only drawback? Why only Cabernet or Pinot Grigiot by the glass? Get wine by the bottle back, for a decent price!

Fantastico!
My friend and I decided to go to New York about 3 years ago. After arriving we were famished and stopped to get a bite. Little did we know that we were going to best best place on earth! We walked into Bella Vita's and the smell's were amazing to the senses. We ordered the best melt in your mouth garlic knot's that we had ever tasted. Literally! We both ordered a Stromboli that was out of this world. All of the freshest ingredients, the nicest staff, and a great atmosphere. We still have not stopped talking about our great New York epicurean feast on day one. We will certainly come back when we return to the East Coast.
