Subpar service can be forgivable, but not subpar food and subpar service together. We placed our delivery order online at 8pm on a Sunday, and it took over an hour for SOME of our food to travel the five blocks to our apartment. The rest of the order--quick stuff like slices and sodas--took another 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the food was not good. There is no excuse for offering "meatballs" as a pizza topping and then presenting little clumps of unflavored ground beef. One of the Sicilian slices was burned, and had obviously been waiting a long time for some unlucky customer to place an order. The homemade Caesar salad dressing had no distinguishable taste; in fact, the consistency of the dressing was much the same as that of the pizza: gelatinous. And this place isn't cheap, either!

we were walking around and just saw that there was actually people in this place even though we weren't in the mood for italian food. the food ended up being AMAZING. serivce was ehhh, but great food

Never been in the restaurant, but we always order delivery... The order is taken care and the food is delivered in a timely fashion. The best part is the food is always great!

Fantastic food and fantastic service on the phone! It's a pain to find a good restaurant that is affordable and delivers at this hour in this area. And it only took about 20 minutes! Thanks guys! I was hungry!

After side dishes were missing from two previous orders, I decided to give them one more try since I think their food is above average for delivery. I mentioned the previous problems and could not have been treated with more concern and effort than they afforded me. A fellow named Tony called me back to question the preparation of one of the dishes ordered, and then asked if he might send a complimentary bottle of wine or some dessert to make up for my having experienced their previous transgressions. I accepted and we received four lovely desserts, which we greatly enjoyed. That made a believer and a loyal customer out of me. It was nice to see how well my situation was handled simply by Tony using some basic customer service common sense. I highly recommend Bella Napoli (Madison Avenue) for both food and service.

Fantastic Italian in a low key setting for a quick, easy, dinner out.

I agree with the person below... This is the best pizza in this side of town but the service is poor and the staff is unfriendly. But hey, the food makes it worth the while!
