not good
Worst take out experience ever. Pizza was EXTREMELY under-cooked, Penne Vodka was bland, salad was a hunk of iceberg lettuce with fatty grilled chicken on top. Never again.

The Real Thing
I grew up in New Jersey around many top-rate pizza parlors and have certain standards for a good "pie"...the pie here is the best I've tasted in NYC -- one where the ingredients blend together so well and each bite just slides down your throat. I have to admit I haven't tried the pastas...it's just too hard to not fill up on pizza first. I've even driven a pie back to our home in DC, same day and it holds up well after a 4 hour drive and a reheat. Now my kids finally understand what I'm talking about when I describe "real NY pizza".

The Best Pizza In Chelsea!
Bella Napoli is hands down the best gas-oven pizza in Chelsea. I worked in an Italian, family owned pizzeria for 12 years where quality of ingredients, freshness and technique were priorities. Bella Napoli seems to have the same priorities. Pizza and calzones, their daily pasta and chicken dishes, and even their salads are all excellent. From top to bottom Bella is the Best!

Yuck!
I ordered the Pene Vodka lunch special-& what came was a tin with noddles and what seems to be a ziti like look to it-Completely TASTELESS! There are no mushrooms or onions or bacon like the description. There is a mushy sauce (if you can call it sauce) and the noddles have been left in the water about an hour too long! This is NOT vodka sauce-not even close-not pink or red-almost white! I just paid $7.00 for a tin of over-cooked noodles! I guess Bella Naploi has the last laugh! I will make sure no one I know ever orders from here (I work in a very large office!!)

whats going on?
I have to say, I've been ordering from this place for about a year. They used to be consistently good, but over the past few months the food just hasn't been as good. Its delivered cold, or unfinished (like my pasta carbonara which is simply pasta, ham and cream sauce, missing the onions and mushrooms) GET IT BACK BELLA! I miss the great food that USED to come out of your kitchen!

The best spot in Chelsea
It's hard to find a great restaurant in NY with good food with great value price. Bella Napli has it all. From good food, great price, to the most friendless work. Keep up the good!
