disappointed
Ordered delivery. They have a $20 minimum. Manicotti -- NOT GOOD. Very mushy overcooked pasta, bad sauce (which I can't even describe), all of it very salty, average ricotta. Tiramisu -- sub par. Not worth the money.

Excellent Meal, Warm and Romantic Atmosphere
Although we made reservations 20 minutes before arrival on a Friday evening and the place was fairly busy, we were seated at a cozy table right away. The service was fast, professional, and friendly, and the food was delicious. The rainbow trout was cooked just right and the spaghetti and meatballs were equally excellent. Would definitely return. This feels like what an evening out should be like.

Maybe the cook was on vacation...
My boyfriend and I have passed this place many times and take particular interest in the fact that they hire jazz guitarists. So on Labor Day weekend, we decided to dine there and try it out. The staff was incredibly accommodating and nice. Almost too nice. When I complained about the wine being bad, the waitress asked if she could taste it from my glass. The bread was stale and served with ice cold butter. The salad was soggy, and I had to ask for pepper. The entrees were uninspired, not hot enough and not well prepared. I think the only people raving about this place are tourists. I could have done better myself. Nice atmosphere, but really sub par food. If I return, it will be for the music and not for the food.

Pretty Good!
I went to this restaurant for the 1st time in May and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered off the prix fixe menu which was a great deal. The calamari was bland but my entree was great. My date's meal was good too and the sorbet I ordered for desert was good. The service was a little slow but I would probably return here.

watered down drinks
I have been going there for years. Lately it seem to have slipped. Ordered a drink and received something that resembled a glass of water with ice. I'm very upset because we used to have fun going there. New management leaves something to be desired. Won't go back again they lost us with their rude attitude.

when all you can do is laugh...
Not sure where these other reviews were coming from, but we went one Saturday night and took advantage of the Prix Fix menu. The calamari was bland, and the Bruschetta was basically sliced tomatoes on soggy bread. My boyfriend said he was pretty sure there was something wrong with his veal, and my main dish was not memorable. The service was slow and inconsistent. When we ordered dessert I asked if I should get the apricot gelato, and the waiter said it was bland and told me to get the mango. Well...the mango tasted not far from baby food. By the end of the meal all I could do was laugh. Don't waste your time.

Best value, great food
The $19 prix fixe is an incredible value. Had the pasta with eggplant and ricotta--a delicious dish. Salad and soups were also very great, as were the gelato flavors. Decor is authentic with an antipasto bar for effect. Would recommend and will definitely be going back.
