Too bad...I tried many times to like their food
Basically, I have tried the pizza, salads, pannini,eggplant parmesan, tuna wrap..... alas everything tastes like nothing. I think that they are purchasing low quality flavorless ingredients. I got a spinach salad.. .with canned mushrooms... really... no flavor. I ordered eggplant parmesan with mozzarella cheese that had zero flavor. In addition, most of the food that I order that is supposed to be hot... ie pizza are not even hot out of the oven. Too bad... this is a good location, but there is no quality.

Not recommended
I live on the block so stopped in to grab a quick breakfast to-go..simple egg and cheese sandwich. I waited for over 10 mins (there was no one else in there)..and when I finally asked they started making it! The cook hadnt even picked up the ticket...and no one else seemed to care! When I finally got it, it was barely cooked with the egg yolk all over the place! They made no apologies for the delay..and food was unappetizing. Never again - not worth your money when there are so many great places around!

Great addition for everyday food in SoHo
Excellent all around Italian food in SoHo. Great soup, solid personal pizza's and tasty sandwiches. Don't find the first review, the just opened and like everyone had some bumps getting started.

Solid egg sandwich
ordered the breakfast sandwich with coffee. It was delicious and priced right. Delicious whole wheat toasted roll with tomatoes and cheddar. Nice area, nice atmosphere.

Poor service!
I live in the neighborhood so I tried Bella Donna Cafe for lunch. I ordered the grilled eggplant panini. The woman behind the counter who also appeared to be the owner was frazzled & asked me several times for my order. She tried to do everyone's job: take order, cashier, bossing around the cooks, bagging the food, etc which led to the chaotic atmosphere in the cafe. Then she messed up my order so I had to wait over 20 minutes to get my food. The sandwich was okay, the mozzarella was not fully melted, and the side salad was just a few leafy greens. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Also it was very smoky in the restaurant from the grill.
