Bella Blues
Used to be a great restaurant but poor, rude service since Marco left. No one's managing the store! Food was never spectacular but it's become downright mediocre and boring. Low quality products may save money but will lose customers. Lively staff with no leader. Make-over time!

Bella Blu winner
It starts at the bar, when greeted by the knowledgeable and friendly barkeep. He makes a great drink and offers a taste of today's favorite wine. The rest of the service team works well together. And the food is as good as UES gets. A real winner.

Phenomenal meal by all
As a native New Yorker and big-time Italian food food junkie this was as a good a mean as I've had in a very long time. There were four of us and everyone raved about their dinner -- from salad to desserts. Service was topnotch and we had a very knowledgable and attentive waiter. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I highly recommend this place. Everything was extremely fresh, prepared perfectly, and two of the best pastas I have ever had were my Spaghetti pomodoro and my daughter's gnocchi. The lamb chops and the risotto with scallops special rounded out a perfect meal. And the desserts were awesome, highlighted by the buffalo mozzarella cheescake and the apple fennel cobbler -- both mouth-watering.

Best Italian restaurant on the UES.
The food is fresh and delicious. It is the most authentic Northern Italian in the area. Can get loud and crowded after 6:30, but most restaurants do at that hour. The manager treats everyone the same. There is no attitude at this restaurant and it's far better than it's next door neighbor Setto Mez.

Took Us To The Cleaners
The food was solid and we enjoyed the service. However we ordered the specials and a bottle of wine and a few appetizers and ended up spending more money than at any restaurant in the last 5 years while living in Manhattan...You see the specials were 1.5X the price of anything else on the menu and were misspriced. We left with a dirty taste in our mouths and won't be going back for awhile.
