After 50 minutes worth of 4 phone calls to the restaurant to see where my food was...I was only medium impressed. Nothing special in terms of chinese food...very slow though...

I have been a loyal customer for over 2 years and Beijing Wok consistently delivers delicious MSG-free Chinese food with generous portions and speedy service, as well as excellent value. This place is a true gem--try it once and you too will become a regular.

we ordered from here a few times while we stayed in nyc and the food was pretty good. It wasnt bland but tasty and the portions are HUGE! I would go again for sure. The atmosphere has a lot to be desired but the food is great.

but! the food is soo yummy! The sauce they use in the chicken and broccoli is not thick and lumpy like I've had at other places. Order to go and you'll get more for you money. I think the lunch special is less than 6 dollars!

Chinese food the way it should be... cheap, good, and quick delivery to your door. You can feed 4 people for $25. I order from this place all the time... call hang up, and they show up in 15 minutes or less. Don't go somewhere else in the neighborhood where they charge $6 for an egg drop soup.

If you have your food delivered be prepared to tip, if not the delievery men are very rude and will refuse to leave until you tip. Is the food worth this drama? No! But I'm hard press to say the food is bad, because it is good. The prices are decent and for a Hunter College student they are a staple for us students between classes and if you are just hanging out at school. To get out of tipping just go and pick-up the food.
