    Always a pleasure

I have been enjoying Becco for many years. The food and service is always good, but I really love the fresh pastas and great wine list. Becco is a great value and well worth the trip to restaurant row.

    Enjoyable

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, really quite good. Usually the establishments on "Restaurant Row" just churn out the chow for the tourists and theater-goers, and so I was pretty skeptical when our out-of-town friends said they wanted to eat at Becco's. Yes, it's big and crowded...my recommendation...go with a bunch of friends AFTER the theater crowd has left (around 8PM). Service should be better then.

    A consistantly wonderful experience

My wife and I have been eating at Becco for years. The food and service are great. It's tight between tables but that's part of its charm and it gives you the opportunity of sharing your experience and recommendations with first timers. You are not rushed and the wait staff is friendly and attentative to your needs. At $25 for bottle of wine and $4.50 for a fantastic dessert sampler combined with a delicious meal, what more do you want?

Like eating in a crowded subway

I went with a group on a weeknight and as soon as we told the waiter we were not going to a show he disappeared for 20 minutes. It was all we could do to get his attention and order appetizers. He kept trying to sell us the special family style, after we told him we wanted to order ala carte. After about 45 minutes of pushing drinks, our appetizers arrived. However, we still had not ordered dinner and had to eat the appetizers with our menus on our laps! The food was actually good, but it took us 2-1/2 hours to find out. I would not go back, the service was subpar.

    Poor service

Dinner at this highly rated restaurant was a disappointment. The table was very small with little room for our plates. The waiter was unprofessional and loud. We have travelled to many places including Italy. This restaurant was far from Italy.

Becco staff best in the city

I have eaten here a myriad of times, consistently amazing food, and service. The staff knew me so well, that they would not let me order the same thing twice. Wonderful wine list and the desserts are fantastic.

Service left a bad taste in my mouth

I ordered the signature three pastas. Food was excellent, however I was never asked if I wanted more. The pasta is all you can eat. Although the portion was generous, I should have been asked if I wanted more. I never saw my waitress again after my entree was served.
