Such a meal. The Rib eye and swordfish were fabulous. I highly recommend this space.

This is a very good restaurant. I went with 5 friends and we had a lovely table. The service was terrific and our particular server was very accomodating. We shared the 3 pastas as an app and it was delicious as was the chicken dinner I ordered. Yes, it's crowded but it's a pre-theater favorite and it really clears out once theater goers get on their way.

We were disappointed. They try to squeeze as many tables as they can into this place. If your table is near the bar, the customers there are close enough to eat your food. The food was good but I expected better from Lidia.

Friday, the 27th of February, a pre-show dinner. From the minute my wife and I walked through the door, every employee of the Restaurant made us feel both welcome and special. The food was both creative and delicious...service 'present' without hovering...and the price very reasonable. In a city of thousands of restaurants, this one has never failed to make the event memorable.

I live in Rochester, NY and every time I am in NYC, I take whomever I am with to Becco. I think the food is a terrific value. The only reason I didn't give service 5 stars is because, while sometimes they reload my plate with pasta whilst my fork is still in hand, at other times I have waited for them to notice that what has been cleaned away needs replacing. No big deal, though. The pastas of the day range from good (tomato sauce) to sublime ( any of the raviolis and especially the gnocci ); part of their charm is that they are served straight from pan. I love the anitpasto platter and breads with dip to start as well...The service may not be outstanding, but as with the case in many restaurants in Italy, this place is not designed to be swanky, or to turn italian food into something more important than it need be. It is fun, homespun, friendly, delicious, and affordable, even by upstate standards.

Good food, good olives (YUCK!), very cramped for space, the guy next to me could have been eating off the same table he was so close! High Prices, but good food.

Food and wine were excellent. Restaurant was super crowded. Tables are right next to the bar, so all night long people are passing by and bumping into you. Go early (before 6 pm) or late (after 9:30 pm). We did tell the manager when he came to ask about our evening, and he sent over complimentary glasses of a dessert wine, which was very good and much appreciated.
