Becco had some of the strangest customer service I've ever seen. The minute you walk into the restaurant you are FORCED to wait in a narrow hallway with tons of other people for no reason. When you want to leave, the staff repeat the process which is terribly rude. Not a great first or last impression. The food was pretty good, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

we have eaten at becco a few times, the food is consistent. the wait staff is very attentive. becco is a very good restaurant for luncheon before a matinee show and they are very accomodating with their reservations if you are in fact seeing one of the shows nearby.

Took my niece here straight from the airport. Her plane was late and so we missed our reserved time. They sat us anyway. We had a bottle of proseco and the pasta and the cheesecake. She loved everything as did I. I always bring my "newbies" here as an introduction to NYC. NEVER had a bad meal.

Group of six for lunch. Taking our grand daughter who lives in NY out for her birthday. The group ordered the three course pasta which was all you could eat;some ordered salad and some ordered antipasta. We received a little basket of break which was also insufficient. Our drink order was taken and served in a timely manner. When the food arrived the salad and antipasta were served to all family style; both were insufficient for six people and we were served our pasta and never asked if we wanted more salad , antiipasta or bread. The pasta was so-so and nothing special. I ordered a second drink; asked for it about four times and never received it. It was included in the bill. Basically went to this restaurant because of watching Lidia; would never return.

I didn't have expectations for this restaurant since it's in Times Square and having eaten in the area more times than I'd like to remember I wasn't excited to go back again. Well I'm happy to report that there's a place in Times Square where you can actually get good food. My friend tried the unlimited pasta and each dish she had was delicious. I want to go back just to try that out too. I had the chicken and it was so moist and seasoned just right. We polished off a bottle of really good, nicely priced white wine (can't remember what it is and how much since it was 5 months ago when we ate there) and had scrumptious dessert. I'd definitely go back again!

My husband and I dined at Becco while in New York recently. The food was terrific; service good and atmosphere lively. The ossobucco was tremendous; we also loved the $25 bottle wine selection. Nice menu choices. We would definitely recommend if you're in town for a show.

I took my bf here for dinner Saturday night and we were both dissapointed! He had Ossobucco and i had the Veal Shop...they were both bland... barely had any seasoning!! at all. I must say the best part of my meal (i had Veal Chop) was the mash potatoes. on a good note, we needed to get the nasty bland flaovors from our palate and ordered the desert sampler. The pannacotta and itialian chessecake were amazing--but not good enough for me to return.
