    Excellent and creative food

Beast is an awesome restaurant, and I'm so glad it's getting the press coverage it deserves. The servers are very nice and welcoming, and the menu, which frequently changes, is full of creative small dishes. They try to say it's tapas, but the portions are so much bigger, and half the price, than any other tapas I've had in the city. The fish is always good, the chicken in garlic is amazing, and the roasted vegetables are wonderful. Get there early if you don't want to wait a super long time (they one forgot about me when I was waiting, but made it up to me by bringing me a delicious strawberry lemonade)!

    Great food and service

This place has the absolute best chicken I've ever had in my life. They somehow get the delicious marinade to penetrate every bit of the meat. As if that wasn't enough, it's served with about 12 cloves of roasted garlic. The roasted vegetables are yummy too. The only dish I haven't been totally satisfied with is the chorizo, which is good but somewhat overwhelming. The service is the friendliest in NYC. I know there are a lot of superlatives here, but I stand by them 100%.

Leave the Slope & Go to Prospect Heights

A great wine selection and amazing food combined with a relaxed atmosphere make Beast a wonderful place for a weeknight dinner with friends. Or, a table in back makes for a great date spot.
