A trek but woth it
This place is pretty typical of Bensonhurst eateries, good food, big potions, and cheap decor. But this place is worth the trip. The food is plate cleaning delicious, all the lamb dishes are rich without being way too oily, I mean it's lamb, but it's done very well. The chicken chops are a must try, some of the most delicious chicken I have ever had, and so spicy. Generally I would characterise the food as Mediterranean comfort food, that is not a complaint. The wait staff are generally sweet girls who are polite and attentive, make you feel like at your visiting family. I have never had bad service, maybe overly attentive, when the place is empty though. I gave it a high value, as you get an enormous serving of food, plan on sharing with friends, it's a very family style place. Two key areas that need improvement, the big screen TV needs to go. I hate Televisions in bars and restaurants. Also the Beer and Wine list needs to be upgraded. I can overlook the small blemishes for the food.
