Not only was todays Sunday dinner sauce fabulous, as was everything else we ordered, the people who run and work this restaurant are so friendly that you really feel like you are sitting down to Sunday dinner at home with family! Very pleasant atmosphere. Not to be missed. I will be back often!

I have eaten here several times and the food is outstanding. The seats in the front room need cushions as they are just wood but the back room has padded seating. I highly recommend this eatery. Comparable restaurants in the area are Pinocchio's and Il Posto.

Not sure I want to say to much simply because I want it to stay my secret so it does not change. The food is great! The staff is great and the prices are reasonable for a great meal! Best part is BYOB which is a rare find in Brooklyn with all of these attributes....

I was gladdened that the Old World Neighborhood restaurant is alive and well. John was welcoming and we recalled the "old" neighborhood. Joe is an amazing chef and deceptively disarming. Has been a long time since I have been in a restaurant where the chef comes around to the patrons to ask how you like the food. Personal, authentic, and, yes, loving! Makes the food taste more delicious. It's girlfriends night out at Battista from now on!
