Get rid of the mediocre server

usually love love love this deli - best food at what i think is a fair price. Most of the folks that work the sandwich counter are awesome but got the lazy uninterested girl today (you know the kind that usually work at mcdonalds). Asked for the Thai Red Curry Chicken sandwich but girl makes me a terribly imbalanced oyster poboy instead. I personally blame myself for ordering with her instead of any of the other 3 people since the rest are awesome but seriously this chick needs to shape up or get out

Best thing to hit the WFC

Having worked in the WFC for almost 20 years, I have become used to the mediocre food, poor service and basically the junk I had as choices to eat during the week. Now I have been saved by the clean, well designed and great quality of Battery Place Market. Sure the food is a bit higher than a lot of the places in the area, but sometimes you do get what you pay for and the service here matches the high quality of the food. The sandwiches are made with tasty roast turkey or beef that is not Boars Head, but real food and they are made on bread that is from some of the best bakers in NYC. The salads and side dishes are freshly made and the coffee and pastries are real good. What I do really enjoy is that they always have chips I don't see anywhere else and chocolate that I can run down for in the afternoon for a treat that isn't M&M's or a stale milky way.
