    Poor service

I'll start with the pros since that's much faster than the cons. The food is surprisingly good! We split the gnocchi, pork sliders, ribs, lobster spring rolls and make your own s'mores for dessert. All were yummy. The cocktails are also quite well made. Now the cons. I cannot recall ever having such terrible service at any restaurant in New York City. Other than the busboys who were very pleasant, every person we interacted with was somewhere on the spectrum of dismissive/rude to outright hostile. The incidents that stand out were as follows: we received two voice-mails before arriving at the restaurant to make sure it was clear we needed to vacate the table within 2 hours. Even though we had a reservation for five they made us cram into a small booth (that was set for four) and refused to give us an extra chair because "all the chairs are reserved for a party of 20 that's coming in later this evening." They then made us check our bags instead of leaving them on the shelf of the booth (which we had to do since there was no extra room on the bench we were sitting on) and refused to bring them to the table at the end of the meal. Instead we had to pick them up at the coat check ourselves, and were then told we had to immediately leave the premises, even though half of our party was still inside. We asked for four extra marshmallows for our s'mores and the waitress told us she would have to charge us for a whole extra order. The busyboy did eventually bring them, but the waitress made it seem like she was doing us a HUGE favor. For four marshmallows that probably cost about 17 cents. We were also told the check could only be split on three cards and before we could respond the waitress ran away. Oh, and the kicker, there were two chairs right next to our table that sat empty the entire time we were in the restaurant. All in all, while the food and drinks are good, there are hundreds of restaurants in the city with comparable quality food where the bouncers/hostesses/waitresses understand they are in the service industry and act accordingly. NOT worth it.
