My new favorite restaurant
My friend introduced me to this place a few months ago and I cannot stop eating here! The pasta is perfect. They have a roasted duck breast special that is out-of-this-world. The wait staff is very friendly. I keep taking my other friends here and we all have a great time eating here--tasty food, good wine, nice atmosphere. I'll be going again this weekend. I recommend making reservations esp on weekend nights.

Creative and unique
This place is really something. If you like restaurants that are an experience, this is for you. The open kitchen that you stroll right through is fascinating (boy, do they have to be tidy to be so visible) and the food is full of complex and intelligent flavors. The crab rolls in a spicy tomato sauce were terrific. And I loved the pumpkin gnocci in sage sauce. This is not a regular red-sauce place, this is visually and tastefully top-drawer.

Worth another visit
I came here w/2 of my girlfriends and had a very lovely dinner. When we walked in my friends were specticle of have a decent Italian meal by a place run by Asians. But once we received our appetizers they changed their minds. Everyone had a great meal and the wine was outstanding. I even bought 2 bottles of it the next day! It's a great fusion of eastern culture mixed with Italian. I recommend and will visit again.

Great Great Great! Did I mention Great?
Exceptional food. The sauces and pastas are beyond great. The service is always wonderful. The "prix fixe" lunches are the best bargain in NYC! Definitely go to this place-- really-- it's THAT good!

1/2 size, too
For pasta and risotto you can order 1/2 size, which is really great for people who want to try everything, but your stomach is not so big.

Foodgasism!
It was a surprise evening when I arrived and saw the open kitchen and the grill w/a succulent piece of tuna being prepared as I eagerly await a special table that the owners were ever so kind to give us. From start to finish everything that came out was better than exceptional, as I had no idea of what to expect. Asian-Italian fusion? What is that? It?s BASTA PASTA!!! Every morsel I tasted I had a foodgasism and if u want to leave a lasting impression on your date/mate/partner or lover this is the place to go. I highly recommend it!
