We all enjoyed our delicious meals. Very nice atmosphere, genuine Italian food, excellant service and an unpretentious atmosphere. Will return without a doubt.

Had Christmas Day dinner here, everything was delicious. The bar whipped up a non-alcoholic drink for someone in our party, it was great. They also had extensive vegetarian options, the pasta was fresh and al dente, but the star was the filet mignon entree. Perfectly cooked (medium), buttery mashed potatoes, garlicky spinach. I really just wanted to smash my face in it, it was so good. The creme brulee is the best we've found in NYC. Highly recommend.

Come in from Ct. and this food is outstanding. Many different dishes and great specials. Everything is served hot and the flavors are beyond belief. Our server did not clear a dish until everyone was done, which is rare, but that is the way they are taught. Food was as good as ever on my 5th visit. Skip Patsy's next door and go here.

My group of 4 made last-minute reservations here based on reviews from this site. it had 4.5 stars from 51 reviewers. That's consistent enough for us to want to try. The waiter knew his stuff, food around us looked and smelled good, so we were looking forward to dig right in. Each course that we ordered were well prepared, not overdone and very tasty! I liked it so much, I wanted to rsvp for the next day since I had to come back into the City from NJ, but they were fully booked for the evening. Too bad. I definitely will be back next chance I get.

Just ate there last Saturday and had the best meal--lobster crepes. The service was excellent; prices were reasonable and service outstanding and we made our show in time. This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review because I've never had a great meal remotely close to the theatre district. They are no longer mutually exclusive.

Classy, cordial, tasty, generous and comfortable. The walls can use some art and the pre fixe is the reason to come.

I'm from Melbourne, Australia. The place to get the best pasta or risotto outside of Milan. My family is from the abruzzo region in Italy the same as the owner/chef here. I special ordered han off the menu classic abruzzese dish of spaghetti aglio e olio with some peperoncini. The wait staff was very accommodating and the pasta nice and al dente. It reminded me of home and Italy at once. Love eating the bread and olive oil and pasta and drinking the wine. Great experience. Best meal in new York I had. That and sparks steak house. After my cousin and I polished off a bottle or so of wine and some coffee we staggered out half drunk, hailed a cab and were whisked back to 440 west 41st street by the fastest cab driver the world has seen. Great night
