Our waiter Dan was attentive, and very helpful with food and wine selections. I have to say his job is not difficult since there are no bad choices at this restaurant. We were a party of 4 before the theatre on a Saturday night. We had a reservation, and no wait for our table. The bartender made THE BEST Manhatten. There were a few large tables welcoming families. pasta is homemade and cooked to a perfect aldente. I can't say enough, I wish they were in CT, but atleast I'm only a couple hours away. Finally, yes, the chocolate crepes are to die for!

What a great find!! This place has it all- above and beyond service, excellent food, terrific atmosphere and the best part is- it's a great value. The Lunch pre fixe menu is always amazing and perfect for business lunches. I have added this to my list of regulars in the area and reccommend it as often as I can!

After you work past the sterile look coming through the door, you will meet the warmest, most accomodating staff and a kitchen/wait staff/owner/chef that works as hard as any we have encountered at pleasing their guests. The food suggestions, wine pairing reccomendations and personal attention are impeccable. San Francisco would be honored to have as good an Italian in North Beach.

Our party of six was treated like royalty., This was our first visit. The manager gave a wonderful presentation of the specials. Everything was perfect. We were given complimentary desert cordials that were delicious. We will be back.

To put it in a nut shell...... Great Atmoshere, Great Food and Great Service. We have a Timeshare at the Manhattan Club and couldn't be happier to have this Gem so close to us. Have sent several couples there already and all have come back with Rave reviews. When you go tell Alex the owner, Chuck says see you soon.

My husband and I visited this restaurant last night before seeing Jersey Boys. This was a great evening. Great food, authentic Italian, fresh pasta, delicious and different sauces, You won't find the usual boring chicken parmigiana. Loved the interesting and different combinations of all the dishes, especially the grilled calamari over arugala and roasted eggplant puree. I licked my dish!! Small, intimate, yet chic, service was personal. Would definitely recommend it to everyone I know that wants something different. Bravo!!

It just opened around the corner from where my girlfriend lives. We went on Saturday night and had a very pleasant experience. It is new so it was only half full and we got a ton of attention, but I think they will be able to handle the droves that are sure to come. The place itself is distinctive, comfortable and chatty. Open kitchen let's you see that the cooks are having a good time, which translates very well into the food. Going again tonight, and will go often. Great Service, Great Food, Great Atmosphere.
