Excellent Service
Gorgeous little restaurant with great food, value, and the best service on 9th avenue! Great quiet place for a dinner for 2. A little too small for a crowd of 4 or more.

We love this place!
My wife and I have been here a few times now and we absolutely love it. It's a nice cozy atmosphere and the food is great! This is a place that we have shared with most of our friends and we all love it! Definately a place to go if you are looking for nice Italian Restaurant which is not too pricey.

A Great Find!
What a wonderful little restaurant. Excellent pasta meals, great wine, and terrific service! We tried this restaurant after seeing it on MenuPages, and definately would return. The portions were perfect, the prices right, and the staff was very attentive.

Nice but Small
The food here was fine, maybe a bit salty, and it is pretty small. Its nice, but maybe not as intimate as it could be.

Charming & delicious
A friend took me to this charming little spot. She was a regular at Basilica before she moved to Atlanta. She raved about the place and could not wait to take us there. Well, Basilica lived up to all her praise. The food was great, the atmosphere was quaint and the service was superb. I am now also a fan of Basilica and look forward to returning soon.

disappointed
Could they spare any more olives? The salad was good after they replaced the mealy bad tomatoes in it, but pretty oily. My pasta was good but not great. I was hoping for more from homeade pasta. My friend's shrimp linguini was salty and mediocre. The coffee was just plain bad, the dessert too much. They don't tell you that one dessert at $10 a pop feeds a whole table of 4, so we ordered two desserts and had waay too much. We also didn't realize until after we left the restaurant and wondered where all our money went that they added the bill wrong and overcharged us. Overall I was disappointed and it's not worth the prices.

NYC's best bargain
I eat in Basilica at least 3 times a month, when I go to a Broadway Show. The staff is friendly and the pre-theater menu is tops. It is a gem of a restaurant.
