    Not worth it

$15 minimum for delivery?? OK, fine. But the food better be good, and there better be a lot of it for $15. But Barrio let me down: mediocre food, and the smallest quesadilla I've ever seen (for an entree!). Fast delivery, but nowhere near the quality of food for what they charge.

    some tips

1- Greet your customers when you come table side. Don't just say "do you know what you want?" 2- Bring water within, say, the first 5 minutes 3- Have avocado if you are a Mexican restaurant (or ar least know you are out of it before you get an order for guac) 4- Know also, that you are out of an entree before the same table orders it (also, don't be out of stuff on a small, unchanging menu) 5- Have chorizo tacos that tastes like chorizo, not like sloppy joe. And while you're at it, short rib that tastes unlike the sloppy joe chorizo

    Blah

Considering that there are so many brunch specials available, we were shocked to see that the entrees were a minimum of $10 with no sides or drinks. When we asked if the omelettes come w fries, the waiter said no but the portions were huge. The omelette was teeny, the shrimp were undercooked, and the sangria (add'l $10 for unlimited), was subpar. Decided to get the churros, and they were hard and overloaded w cinnamon. Thanks, but no thanks.

    Subpar Food and Drinks

Everything about this place makes me think their location and flash brings people in, but are struggling greatly getting repeat business. You can taste the cost cutting methods they are using in their food and drinks. A $10.75 frozen margarita tasted so badly I asked the server to let me know which tequila they use in them. It was a whole sale generic well tequila that not even a dive wouldn't carry to pour our 6 dollar shot and beer specials. The guacamole was premade and just bad, and the cheese tasted cheap.

    loved it -

The place was really busy but the food, the margaritas and the service were all great. We had the guacamole - it was a huge pot of deliciousness (we did add a bit of salt) - then we had the black bean empanadas which were AMAZING - then the tilapia tacos which were really good too. The margaritas were good and strong and the service was prompt and sincere - give it a try.

    ehh, not so great

went to barrio for margaritas and chips. the margaritas are not great. you shouldn't be able to taste the tequila and i certainly could. and they have no idea how to make guacamole spicy. we told them HOT and they put some jalapenos on top, but it would not satisfy someone who craves spice. the empanadas were good, but tiny
