loved it -
The place was really busy but the food, the margaritas and the service were all great. We had the guacamole - it was a huge pot of deliciousness (we did add a bit of salt) - then we had the black bean empanadas which were AMAZING - then the tilapia tacos which were really good too. The margaritas were good and strong and the service was prompt and sincere - give it a try.

ehh, not so great
went to barrio for margaritas and chips. the margaritas are not great. you shouldn't be able to taste the tequila and i certainly could. and they have no idea how to make guacamole spicy. we told them HOT and they put some jalapenos on top, but it would not satisfy someone who craves spice. the empanadas were good, but tiny

Margaritas
Went to Barrio with a couple girlfriends this weekend...food was good but Margaritas were OUTRAGEOUS! The bartender told us they use a special orange liquor from france that is really hard to get called COMBIER. Not sure how to pronounce that but we were loving it;) Ill go back.

Easily one of the best!
The food is delicious and the salsa/guac are always fresh and homemade, so they rarely taste exactly the same. Great atmosphere and I love bringing new people to enjoy this tremendous restaurant. GREAT MARGARITAS and specials...even tho they don't make frozen margaritas (boo)

loved it
Just returned from a great dinner at Barrio this evening. Had the Guac, no rosa mexicana guac but very very tasty, loved the fresh tortillas. The GF had the shrimp w coconut rice, delish! I had the chicken enchiladas and I loved it. Spicy and super flavorful. Service was spectacular!!!! Cant wait to go again.

tastes like prepackaged food
The food is prepackaged and overpriced. I ordered the vegetable enchilada and asked for no cheese or sour cream. The waiter came back and told me they could not take off the cheese. I said fine. When I got the plate, the cheese appeared to be poured over the top even though they said THEY COULD NOT TAKE IT OFF. Also, the tortilla had that microwave food chewiness, and the inside was dry with bits sticking together like a microwave dinner. Except this microwaved dinner set me back $12. Never going back.
