    Drinking the "cool" aid

better than average drinks and nice service are the only high points of this mediocre restaurant that offers below average food (place so dark you have no idea what you re eating) and a depressing atmosphere. Chips are pretty good and if you're a cool kid you'll feel at home having to SCREAM at your dining partners over mega decibel music.

    Always amazing

My friends and I are regulars. Delicious food, amazing margaritas (grapefruit habenero is the best), and friendly service. The only downside is the up to 3-hour wait since they only take reservations for parties of 8-14. But it's always worth the wait.

    overrated

I really don't understand why people make a big fuss about this place.I was here with a friend of mine on a Saturday night. The place was busy and the atmosphere was great. The waitress came over and asked:do you want a drink?".We said we were not ready and then she decided not to come back to us.The busboy was nice enough to take our drink order. She came back with the drinks and took our order.Never saw her again. The shreaded lamb was australian lamb.Very strong in flavor and confusing with a ton of ingredients. Some of them cooked and others just tossed on top of the greasy dish.Sorry but that was my first and last time going there.

    melt in your mouth steak

I ordered the skirt steak and it was so good, I actually ate the whole thing in one sitting and that doesn't usually happen. The Fresh Lime margaritas were pretty good too, but I am not a big drinker so I can't compare. The vibe was chill and laid back, however, it was annoying how small the tables were. We had to constantly keep shifting plates around to make everything fit. Service was great. The prices are reasonable. It's def worth checking out.

    Extremely disappointing

I was craving guacamole and came across great reviews for Barrio Chino so decided to go check it out with my husband. The ambiance was super cute, but the positive review ends there. The guacamole came out very watery. My pollo tacos had the aftertaste of dog food (not trying to be dramatic, but that's all I can think to compare it to). It seemed as though they threw in some scraped up pieces of meat from a dirty grill. Very disappointed in my meal and definitely will not be returning.

    No Take Out at Dinnertime

I've eaten here and had take out many times, always good. But tonight I was informed they don't do take out between the hours of 7 and 11 pm. Well, there goes that dinner option!

    Amazing margaritas!

I went there yesterday and it was amazing! The bartender was very attentive and the margaritas are to die for! Needless to say our food was delicious. Gracias por tener buena música y buena comida que si sabe a comida latina.
