owners should go to paying customers tables
the owners should acknowledge customers who actually come to their restaurant and go to the tables and ask if everything is ok and if they need or want anything and not just go to see there friends and their non paying patrons. Remember we make your restaurants what they are today.. Doesn't cost much to ask and go to each table... See if we need something and be pleasant.....

disappointing delivery
i have tried this restaurant multiple times- wanting to believe there was a great italian delivery place in the hood. they messed up my order both times- as well as forgetting bread and my beloved red pepper. which i adamantly insisted that i needed. also, ordered the penne vodka. the menu mentions no meat- it came with ham. just saying. in their defense they did give us a free pasta next time we order from there. which i wont be doing again...

Love this place!
Since coming to NYC two years ago this has, by far, become my favorite Italian restaurant. I've brought my family, roommates, friends and even a date. Everyone I've brought have loved it just the same. One think I wasn't big on was the Eggplant parm, but any of their signature dishes are fantastic. Try the Barosa Calamari and the Pistaccio crusted tilapia with a glass of wine and Riccota Cheesecake to finish. Fantastic!

Exactly What I Look For
This place is great. Nice service, warm atmosphere. The food is great and reasonably priced. Always someone there to fill my water glass or replace the bread. Simple as that. You should try it.

By far the new place to go in Brooklyn!
This place was absolutely fantastic. I had this mussell dish inside of this brick oven bread that had to be the best tasting dish i ever had. I then had a prime skirt steak in a cherry pepper sauce that was a little hot but was so tender and tasty that i ordered one to go for my dinner the next night. Overall the place is really a nice looking restaurant. It even has a fireplace that the owner said will be up and flickering for those cold winter nights. Being from Maryland going to school in the city for the past 3 years this restaurant is the type of place you hear about when your not from here. I'm not quite sure but I believe this place was fairly new. I will definitly go back.

first time
my initial visit to barosa bklyn was good but slightly disappointing. i noticed the menu is different than the orig .rest. i had a barosa salad which was excellent and good value. my main was chick scapariello with sausage which was a 2.00 surcharge which i thought was tacky for this type of place. chicken was overseasoned with rosemary and the taste of dish was lost. the sausage served looked like breakfast links, not true italian sausage.it was paasable but the kitchen can do better and up the potrion a little . i will go again .
