go for the garden
Went on Sat. night for a group of 6 at 8PM. We were seated right away, but after that, the service was nonexistent. After calling over waiters for everything more than once, we were able to eat. Some appetizers were the warm calamari, the tomato and mozzarella salad, and a couple of others. They were just ok. Main courses were the branzino which was overcooked, and salty, the breaded vealchop which was fair and the bass. All were not worth even 1/2 of what they cost. I think the best thing was the fries in the middle of the table. Dessert we ordered a full chocolate cake for a b-day which was good. Guess they got one thing right. I would not ever go here for a great meal...just a pretty place to have a drink as it was very crowded at the bar and quite a scene.

Waiters need to be more attentive
The fresh mozzarella was soft and creamy and the tomatoes were firm and fresh.. I also enjoyed the chocolate taglionetti with mushrooms because the pasta was fresh and al dente and the mushrooms were somewhat exotic tasting. Unfortunately the Italian cheesecake did not taste good and the waiters need to be more attentive. It's a shame that the waiters are so unattentive because it would have made it a better dining experience.

Awesome Italian
Barolo has amazing food, especially the pastas. It is really authentic while also originally refreshing. Definitely sit outside, get a drink at the bar, and enjoy the food, the people, and the ambiance.

Christmas party
We had our holiday party at Barolo. The warm friendly atmosphere with the excellent food and wine will keep bringing me back. I loved the Peposo fantastic.

Is there new management here?
What happened to Barolo? It used to feel like an authentic Italian restaurant with high quality. I went last weekend and the tomatoes were not ripe and the waiters and management looked unfamiliar. Did new management take over. It was just off.

Great Italian..but...
The waiters need to get a clue. We didnt even get seated as we entered - the host was God knows where..the waiters looked kinda lost... I wanted authentic Italian, and this place was pretty close to it, great atmosphere, i was there yesterday and it was a nice summer evening before the sunset, so it was great weather to eat out in its terrace, nice european feel...the food didn't take too long...and it did look as great as it taste, i had spaghetti with seafood, really good...if ur into that.. I just didnt like how out of it the waiters seemed, service very poor, their just chattin like right in front of u like they dont have a job! lol, but if u want great italian, it's regular pricey, try to go b4 the summer is over, great place for a date.

Poor service, good overpriced food.
Went there with two friends for late dinner and drinks. The service was poor- very impersonal. The food was delicious but overpriced. LOVELY GARDEN! Felt like I was in Europe.
