My newest Barnyard signature favorite is the Steak and Bacon Eggalicious! Add some cheddar and hold the jalapeños and it's a lunchtime dream come true. So hearty and a GREAT value at $8. Like all their sandwiches ( hot or cold) it's easily shared by two. Lots of other tasty selections, friendly service, and a true commitment quality make this place my East Village home for lunch!

I LOVE barnyard & buy sandwiches about 3 times a week (minimum!). Unfortunately though, today was my last time buying from there. I've noted that in the past they have charged $8.50 or even $10.50 for my usual $6.50 sandwich (I always order the same thing). After being charged $10.50 again today I asked why the price difference? It's EXACTLY the same sandwich but depending on the person or the day the price ranges from $6.50-$10.50, which to me is a deal breaker. The always friendly guy in-store couldn't give me an explanation but just said that's how it works there and how they ring it up on the till & took my $10.50 regardless. I love Barnyard but it's the principle of the thing. You simply cant charge me $6.50 on Tuesday & $10.50 on Wednesday. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this price changing backwards & forwards. I will have to find another place nearby! Good luck to them though.. A loyal customer lost.

An awesome addition to the neighborhood, Barnyard offers great sandwiches and gourmet products for reasonable prices. My friend got the Cuban Panini which he loved and for me, there was a pretty outstanding vegetarian option - the Farmhouse Cheddar Sandwich. Will absolutely be buying cheese by the pound here as everything is super fresh and high quality.

such a great place for the neighborhood. kind of a like a "gourmet" shop where you can get lots of different cheeses and stuff. the sandwiches and homemade empanadas are great and they also have these ridiculously great coconut macaroons (random?!)... definitely worth trying if you're considering it...

The neighborhood needed this place. Their products are great and they have a great selection. I can't believe there's only 1 review so far. I would recommend everything there -- but the Greatest American Hero sandwich is seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They are always so friendly when I walk in and always have something interesting I want to try. Perfect!
